Harris Welcomes 15 Districts to the SmartFusion Family this Year

Williamston, South Carolina- Harris School Solutions is pleased to announce that Anderson School District 1 has upgraded from Harris’ AccountingPlus Solution to their SmartFusion solution.
Anderson School District 1 is comprised of 8 primary and elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and 3 high schools. This district educates over 9,400 students.
By upgrading to SmartFusion, Anderson School District 1 will have access to two new modules; Position Control and Employee Self Service. The Position Control module will give Anderson the ability to access all of their district-wide data from a central location at any time. The module will also give the administration visibility into vacancies so they may effectively plan for retirees and position movement.
The Employee Self Service module will lessen the burden for the Finance and Human Resource departments by giving employees real time access to their paycheck information, leave balances, W2, W4, demographic information, and their banking information.
Harris has sent a dedicated trainer to help the school district during this initial transition from AccountingPlus to SmartFusion. A trainer will continue to be available by phone to ensure the best possible response time as they use SmartFusion. This approach allows for a very smooth transition between systems. SmartFusion will also provide the district with tighter security through SQL.Net technology and built in workflow.

Harris is also pleased to announce and welcome the following districts to the Harris SmartFusion family: Lexington School District 2, Madison Board of Education, Decatur City Schools, Dalton Public Schools, Chesterfield School District, Saluda School District, Bamberg School District 2, Anderson School District 4, Anderson School District 5, Dublin City Schools, Emanuel Board of Education, Clarendon School District 2, and Darlington School District.
