Thomas More Prep-Marian High School in Hays, Kansas has chosen to implement eTrition, a cloud-based K-12 nutrition software from Harris School Nutrition Solutions. eTrition will replace Harris’ legacy system known as Meal Tracker.
TMP is a co-educational Catholic school and serves grades 7-12. Although most of its students are traditional day students, the school has housing for international students where many countries are represented in its residence halls. The school’s 240 students receive a strong traditional Catholic education in addition to the rigors of a college preparatory curriculum. Over 98% of its graduates go on to four-year colleges.
The use of eTrition will allow the school more flexibility by enabling users to access its data in the cloud. This will reduce the demands on its Information Technology department and allow them to focus on supporting technology that is more directly related to teaching. Thomas More Prep-Marian is also excited to have the ability to streamline state reporting and accept online meal payments from parents. Plans are being made now to begin using eTrition for the back-to-school season in August 2015.
